What’s your favourite place on the Northern Beaches?
Out in the surf off Fairy Bower. It’s not just the 360 degree view you’re treated to, under your board are these enormous, perfect boulders with fish moving between them. It’s a special spot.
Is there something about you that would surprise people?
I’m a talented tree climber. My mates reckon the best they’ve seen!
What’s something everyone should do at least once?
Go to Oktoberfest in Munich and fully immerse yourself in everything Bavarian. Eat what you want, drink as much as you can, sleep in your lederhosen.
It’s Sunday afternoon, where do we find you?
Usually by my wood fire grill or smoker. I work most Friday and Saturday nights so Sunday is a day of catching up with family and friends.
If you were down to your last $50 what would you spend it on?
I’d spend it on Yum Cha at Top BBQ in Dee Why. Their dumplings are legit.

I met David Hasselhoff a couple of years back in LA – that was a strange one.
What’s the best part of working on the Northern Beaches? Why did you chose to work here?
I’ve lived here all my life, I couldn’t think of anywhere else I’d rather be.

If we could ask you one more question what would it be and what’s your answer? ‘Seanny, would you like to do some auctioneering work for us in your down time? Sure team, let’s meet for a yum cha and map it out’.
